Once a month, Haynesfield students and staff take a little time out of their busy schedules to have a bit of fun outside of their normal academic classroom on what we call Club Day. This idea originated out of a need for students to participate in enrichment opportunities that focus on something different from their daily studies. For 45 minutes, students are divided into smaller groups and visit a Haynesfield staff member to learn about a certain topic or engage in a group challenge.
Some of the Club Day activities devised by staff members are Lego building challenges, podcasting, sports and health fitness, chess, yoga, ozobot, and so much more! There are six Club Day meetings scheduled for this school year, and depending on the grade level, students will visit a different club two or three times during the year. Club Days are highly anticipated by the students and staff!
