Beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, Bristol Tennessee City Schools elementary schools will implement a five-minute schedule adjustment. Middle and high school schedules will remain unchanged at 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

This adjustment is designed to improve transportation efficiency, support more consistent bus arrival and dismissal times, and provide students on longer bus routes with additional time to eat breakfast before the school day begins. Elementary school doors will open for student arrival at 7:55 a.m.
