A uniformed park ranger speaks to a large group of elementary school students gathered outside on a grassy area. The students, dressed in casual clothing, stand closely together, attentively listening to the ranger, who gestures with his hands. A brick building and parked cars are visible in the background.

It sounds like Marty Silvers' visit to Haynesfield Elementary on February 7th was a great success! The 2nd-5th graders learned important survival tips, including carrying a whistle, informing someone of their plans, taking a trash bag and cutting out a hole to keep warm and dry, and thinking critically in the outdoors. Meanwhile, the Kindergarten and 1st-grade students explored the water cycle, life cycles, and the environment's ever-changing nature. A fun and educational day for all! Haynesfield is always thrilled to have Marty Silvers visit!

The park ranger continues his classroom presentation, now demonstrating with the green tarp wrapped around a smiling student, covering their body except for their face. The seated students watch with curiosity.
