First graders enjoyed their field trip to the historic Rocky Mount on October 22. They learned about the Cobb Family who lived on this site in the 1700s. They were shown how the settlers cooked food in the fireplace, made clothing, and much more. Each student learned firsthand how to make a candle like the Cobb family did hundreds of years ago. It was a fun day for the first graders!
